We build interactive experiences for a living, so making them usable for as many people as possible matters to us. This statement covers bydefault.studio.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We design with clear structure, readable contrast, keyboard support, descriptive alternative text, and content that adapts across devices and screen sizes.
Where we're not there yet
Some of our work is deliberately interactive, animated, and motion-led, and a few experiences, particularly in the Playground, may not yet fully meet Level AA. [List any known limitations here, e.g. specific scroll-driven or 3D experiences, video without captions.] We're working to improve these, and we provide alternatives where we can.
If motion is an issue for you, our site respects your device's "reduce motion" setting where supported.

How we test
We assess accessibility through a mix of manual checks, keyboard and screen-reader testing, and automated tools. We last reviewed the site on 5 June 2026.
